Moose Wanderings: On my day

Today has been fun. My hosts in Dyer's Bay are great. But I don't have the time for a long entry. Weather is fine, sunny and cool.

According to the new EU privacy laws, I must inform you that this blog gathers bits and pieces of information about viewers. The information is gathered by Google using its typical settings and I understand Google displays the warning when this blog is viewed from EU countries. I use no other gadgets, widgets, apps, etc. Google does provide me with some information about my readers.

Having said that, I use the information gathered for little more than my personal curiosity. All I see is numbers, referring websites and search terms, where people are logging in from, etc. From time to time, I might mention interesting statistics in the blog (such as someone in Nepal has read my blog), but otherwise I won't use any data collected for anything significant. Google doubtless puts the information to work in other ways, but if you have a problem with that, please take it up with Google, not me.
